Rubies? What’s that all about?

With the new design there has been some questions about the rubies that appear along with the advertiser information. Believe it or not, but these happy little red rubies are nothing new. In fact, they’ve always been a part of beruby.com. The rubies signify how much commission you can earn (ballpark amount). Naturally, the more rubies, the more you will earn, thus the better for you. Here’s how it works:
1 ruby is a smaller commission (under 2% or $1.00)
2 rubies signify a medium commission (between 2%-4% or $2-4)
3 rubies means a large commission (5% or $5 and above)
Please note that the stars have nothing to do with the commission amount. Instead, the stars represent a rating, given by fellow beruby users of the advertiser. If an advertiser doesn’t have any stars, it doesn’t mean that they are terrible – it just may be that no one has reviewed them yet. If you’ve had an experience with this advertiser, share your wealth of knowledge! Please keep in mind that is not the place to say “hey! I didn’t get my commission from XYZ advertiser!” Instead, make a claim and we’ll figure out what happened to your moo-lah. You can make a claim in just a few steps, under “My Balance”.
